Education & Training
Additionally, Rob has a deep personal connection to his work due to his own experiences with skin concerns. He suffered from atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, a common skin condition that causes the skin to become inflamed and develop dry, itchy patches. Rob has experienced how life-changing treatment can be for atopic dermatitis and is eager to help others find physical and emotional relief with the right treatment.
Rob originally went into medicine for altruistic reasons and feels very lucky to have found his home in dermatology. He finds great satisfaction in treating all skin conditions, from reducing skin irritation to surgically removing skin cancer. His work at Skin and Cancer Center of Scottsdale allows Rob to combine his compassion for helping patients improve their quality of life with his mission for treating skin diseases and improving the appearance of the skin.
In his personal life, Rob considers himself a jack of all trades with an endless list of things he’d like to do if only he had more free time. He’s a former working musician who loves the performing arts, which he attributes to his love for performing. Rob views teaching as a form of performing and loves being able to teach students at his practice, passing on his robust knowledge to future physician assistants.
