About Rebecca Morrow, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Certified (PA-C)

Rebecca Morrow, PA-C, has over 10 years of experience in dermatology and loves helping patients make a difference in their lives. She’s treated patients with vastly different skin conditions, from surgically removing skin cancer to prescribing topical treatments for rashes and acne.

Born and raised in Utah, Rebecca graduated from Brigham Young University with her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2007. She then went on to pursue her Master of Health Science at The George Washington University in 2009, where she also completed her physician assistant certificate.

Education & Training

Her training to become a PA-C was certainly a journey, but it was worthwhile to get to the rewarding work she performs today. After graduating from the PA program, she worked emergency medicine at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Level 1 Trauma Center in Falls Church, VA and completed an informal fellowship. Rebecca worked at the trauma center, learning from a variety of specialists including Dermatologists, Podiatrists, Plastic Surgeons and other specialists, from 2010-2014 and has continued to work in dermatology since then.

Rebecca has been interested in dermatology work for nearly her whole life. As a child, she was always intrigued by the human body, particularly the skin, hair, and nails. This led to her working as a self-employed cosmetologist on the side during her undergraduate years. Her long-standing curiosity and fascination with skin made her choose dermatology as her focus during her PA program.

At Skin and Cancer Center of Scottsdale, Rebecca loves collaborating with her patients to find the best treatments for them. It gives her a great sense of accomplishment to see skin improve over time with the right treatment. Rebecca enjoys helping patients see an immediate improvement in the appearance and quality of their skin by clearing up acne, treating rashes, and removing benign and cancerous spots. She finds treating conditions like atopic dermatitis and psoriasis to be especially gratifying, particularly when she sees how patients’ confidence increases when their skin clears up and they can wear whatever they want.

Outside of her work life, Rebecca enjoys giving back to the community through volunteering with youth organizations and mentoring kids and teenagers. She regularly supports non-profit organizations that represent causes she is passionate about. Rebecca also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughters, and their two dogs. She has recently gotten into traveling, hiking, and observing nature.
