Understanding XTRAC Laser Therapy Treatment
XTRAC Laser Therapy uses a specific beam of laser light with one wavelength to treat targeted areas and spots, visually clearing certain skin conditions, including psoriasis.
How Does XTRAC Laser Therapy Treatment Work?
The XTRAC Laser focuses on selected spots, safely avoiding the surrounding, healthy skin and making it an effective instrument for delivering light treatment to needed areas without damaging other skin cells.
This type of procedure is neither long nor painful.
Typically, an XTRAC Laser treatment can take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.
Prior to the treatment and depending upon the skin condition, a specific type of oil may be applied to the targeted area.
During the treatment, no pain is experienced, but the patient may feel a warming sensation.
After treatment, patients might experience symptoms of a light sunburn, including minimal itching and redness. Over time, successful treatments will reduce or remove the appearance of the skin condition, clearing this unwanted marks and, from some conditions, contributing to long-lasting pain relief.
